Align launched in December 2016, previously Back to Balance Chiropractic and Osteopathy at The Lido Wellness Centre, owned by Dr Marie-Christine Dix. The company rebranded and formed the first alternative health centre in the Channel Islands, offering an ever-growing menu of services and a new perspective on holistic healthcare. The vision is to make alternative and natural-based private health care affordable and accessible to all; whether that’s on an ad-hoc basis or through our various alliance programmes with individual memberships, or through corporate wellness initiatives.

Georgia joined Align in 2015 and has throughout the years been the face of the clinic. Georgia has been promoted several times due to her hard work, tenacity, and dedication. Georgia was promoted to Clinic Manager during the Covid-19 pandemic and has helped steer the business through these unsettled and unprecedented times.
Georgia is tasked with managing the day-to-day running of the clinic and managing the clinics staff.
Ian’s introduction to chiropractic came at the relative young age of thirty after back flipping in a swimming pool and herniating a disc. The agony and disability was banished through healing hands. And that’s what Ian loves about chiropractic, that’s what inspired him to change career and attend Bournemouth college in 2003.
At 56 Ian leads an active life: running, scuba, motorcycling, as well as having YA fantasy novels published. And Ian doesn’t envisage slowing down for a while to come; Ian says chiropractic has played a huge role in that.
Chiropractors are known for back pain, but the skill of a chiropractor extends way beyond. Having a healthy spine will help to maintain/improve quality of life, but if you add nutrition, body conditioning, mindset, postural awareness, then you can take your health to an entirely new level. Jo joined Align in 2019 as a Clinic Coordinator and during the Covid-19 pandemic was promoted to Clinic Supervisor. Jo has many years’ experience in managing small and large teams. She works closely with the Clinic Manager in supporting the smooth running of the clinic. Jo has a passion for health and wellbeing, and she is also our DoTerra advocate.
Jersey-born Chiropractor Marie-Christine is dedicated to promoting positive health choices and options in healthcare for the island’s community. She was inspired to become a Chiropractor after receiving chiropractic care as a teenager and seeing first hand the incredible benefits it made to her not only in her well being but also sports performance.
Carrie is a popular therapist at Align, providing sports massage for better performance and mobility; she has worked with a succession of sports’ people who have relied on her services for optimum results and function, as a keen sports enthusiast herself she understands better than most the importance of good bodily mechanics for ensuring optimum performance in sport. Carrie is a champion of holistic healthcare, and like many of our practitioners, she offers a number of differing treatments to suit the needs of her clients. We are pleased to offer Reiki therapy to our clients with Carrie; this popular energy healing technique, is known to reduce stress and kick start our own body’s ability to reset, recharge and rejuvenate. Carrie’s skillset and experience is second to none and she is excited to be bringing more opportunities for her clients’ best health and wellness to Align.
Shona has been working as a massage and beauty therapist for 7 years. She is passionate about the body, which has led her to develop a skill set of treatment methods that include: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stones, waxing, tinting, nail treatments facials and electrical facials.
Shona has trained in various skin care and body brands such as: espa, decleor, dermalogica and ren so can help and advise where necessary on which brand may be the best for clients skins.
Antonia is a fully trained Reflexology and massage therapist. Trained in London, she has been continuing to expand her knowledge and skills since 2003. She has developed a keen interest in neurodegenerative diseases and teenage and women’s health focusing on hormonal issues.
And with a growing passion for Reflexology she now includes Spinal reflexology and Reflexology for Lymphatic Drainage. Learning from several different schools she combines all the various techniques to provide a very personal treatment often alongside a massage. Antonia works with a very thorough and professional approach, and her methods are intuitive with an overall naturopathic view.
Debbie is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach with clients both here in Jersey and across Europe and is your partner in managing your behaviour change process and empowering you to make positive changes that are both long lasting and sustainable.
Debbie will help to identify effective strategies and approaches that help you with issues such as health goal setting, stress management, time management, sleep quality, eating habits, and other activities needed to improve lifestyle and overall wellness.

Magda is trained in Advanced Reflexology, Reiki, Energy Medicine, New Vision Therapy and a number of other modalities which deeply restore the mind, body and soul connections. Through her treatments, she helps people relax and enhances the body’s internal self-healing on all levels. In addition to the usual techniques, she puts a lot of focus on the Qi energy flow, which is supported by her seven years of Tai Chi training. By tuning in with your energy she releases blockages in the energy field to bring you lightness and balance.
Daniel’s skills are geared towards providing holistic exercise plans whilst using sports massage as an adjunct to provide immediate pain relief, and facilitating long lasting improvements in functional movement, strength and a permanent reduction of pain. Daniel has received a Masters Degree in Sports Rehabilitation. His philosophy focuses on not only training my clients back to a healthy fitness level, but to increase their knowledge and fitness further to create a strong and mobile body to reduce the risk of injury for life. My passion for improving client’s quality of life through movement comes from my own experience with injury during competition, requiring careful exercise and massage management to successfully restore pain free movement.
Lauren’s passion began for health after training as a dance teacher she realised how much you needed to take care of your body, it helped her understand more about the mechanics and how it moves. Lauren is a sports enthusiast and in her spare time she still enjoys dancing and fitness. Lauren has always wanted to work in the health industry. In previous careers, she has worked mostly customer facing roles and has enjoyed caring and helping those clients. Lauren is the perfect fit for Marie-Christine’s C.A where she is able to assist our clients on their journey through to better health.
Hannah Patel, has recently graduated Chiropractor from AECC University College, is excited to return home to work in Jersey. She originally heard about Chiropractic from receiving treatment herself, and after seeing the amazing improvements it made, she dedicated her time to become a Chiropractor to help others with their health and overall wellbeing. In her free time Hannah enjoys cooking, dog walks and travelling.
Kalina began her journey to become a healer when she was very young, she studied different systems of Reiki energy healing over the years. The body work she carries out can improve your wellbeing immeasurably. It is multi-layered including Traditional Thai Yoga massage, Intuitive oil massage and Reiki energy healing.
Kalina’s aim is to improve her client’s quality of life. Kalina has undertook years of care work with adults with severe physical and learning disabilities These individuals were unable to communicate verbally so she learnt to read the way a person’s body communicates all the nuances of tension and pain that even people who can talk are unable to find words for.
Kalina has had really good results in shifting persistent pain that has no apparent physical cause. She believes chronic physical pain and long-standing areas of deep tension relate to past experiences including emotional pain and trauma both physical and emotional.
