Through education, we can change the way in which we manage our health. Taking a holistic and preventative approach is a cost-effective and positive way to maintain your health. By explaining the benefits of this approach we aim to encourage more people to look after themselves for the long term, reducing the burden on the health system and promoting a healthier, happier lifestyle for all.
We organise regular, free talks and workshops on health to help individuals think about how they can better manage their own and their family’s health. We discuss topics such as posture, muscle imbalance, the importance of functional training, metabolic syndrome, the role of food and how stress can affect your physical health.
There are still many taboo subjects that should be talked about and where we can, we raise the profile of such issues. If we can offer our expertise and experience and it helps only a few people, we view this as a great investment. We seek to raise awareness of issues that affect our society by organising events around national awareness days and weeks.
It is our mission to educate our younger generation so they don’t suffer from the common complaints that many people currently face. We spend increasing amounts of time at computers and using portable electronic devices, where stress and anxiety related issues are becoming commonplace. By highlighting what future generations can do to manage postural, muscular and mental health issues, we hope to give them the tools to be happy and healthy no matter what life throws at them. We are already active in supplying regular, FREE talks in schools. We would love to be able to offer these to all schools across Jersey.
