Talking to someone and finding a route through difficulty can begin with our emotional wellness therapist; an accredited practitioner and highly recommended professional who can provide the support and tools to help ease stress, deal with anxiety and help with other emotional worries.

1-1 Counselling

Counselling is a unique, one-to-one relationship between two people who agree to meet privately for an agreed period, to reduce distress, restoring emotional balance and well-being to the client. Therapy can be beneficial for many reasons, including emotional turmoil, difficult life challenges, relationship difficulties, unhealthy coping strategies and common mental health issues. Karina’s core practice is based in the Person-Centred Model however she integrates other modalities where appropriate. She brings with her a gentle and empathic approach enabling her clients to feel safe and at ease, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality. Karina feels passionate about being a part of a client’s journey and helping them out of their distress or releasing that which is holding them back.

Mind & Mood Wellbeing Service

Our mental health influences the way we think, feel and behave in our daily lives. Having positive mental and emotional health helps us to feel good. We feel content, confident and fulfilled. However, this can be challenging in today’s fast-paced, high-pressured society and instead you may be experiencing worry or stress.

When we are not feeling great, we may push the feelings away, distract ourselves or reach for our unhealthy “quick fix”. Whilst these strategies may work temporarily, they are short lived and lead us into unhealthy patterns of coping. This service provides you with tips, tools and resources to better look after your mental and emotional health. If you are ready to take positive action towards feeling better, then this service may be for you.

This service is suitable for:

  • Self-criticism

In the initial consultation we will discuss your needs and you will receive a 4-week programme to follow which is designed around your individual needs. During your programme you will have access to email support to help you stay on track and keep you motivated.

*Please note that this programme is not suitable for those with serious mental health conditions and therefore should not replace treatment, however it can complement your chosen treatment route.
