Disability Access Statement

Align undertakes to offer the best possible service to disabled visitors at all times and it is important that we are inclusive of all our community and our services assessable to all.

Although the building was built some time ago we have tried wherever possible to be accommodating to disabled or special needs when we renovated it.

Our Access Statement

• There are two disabled car parking spaces at the Millennium park side entrance and there are also disabled bays located in Minden Place car park and at the Art Centre open-air car park.
• There is a disabled bell located at all our entrances, please ring for assistance.
• Our employees are trained to providing support to disabled people when entering the building; however this is made easier if you kindly notify us at the time of your booking that you have a disability.
• There is a disabled toilet located on the ground floor.
• We provided two larger treatment rooms located on the ground floor for anyone with a disability.
• We offer the same services on the ground floor as we do on the top floor.
• All staff are fully trained in how to react in an emergency and fire evacuation and fire wardens are trained to assist guests in evacuating the building and use of “safe areas”.
• There are comfortable chairs which offer firm support and are not too low off the ground to assist elderly or infirm clients.
• Hearing impaired, assistance and Guide dogs, are welcome.
